OUR HISTORY

The LCRC is the brainchild of psychiatrist Dr. Randy Dellosa. The LCRC was formally registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on December 3, 1996. Back then, it was located at #3 Ilaw Street, San Francisco Del Monte, Quezon City. By 1999, the growth in the number of patients prompted Dr. Dellosa to transfer the LCRC to #84 Maria Clara Street, Sta. Mesa Heights, Quezon City. That was also the year that Dr. Violeta Bautista joined the team of Dr. Randy Dellosa. LCRC stayed at the Maria Clara Street location from 1999 to 2006. In December 2006, Dr. Dellosa and Dr. Bautista agreed to transfer the LCRC one more time to the present Scout Rallos location. This move was prompted by a need to have a bigger outdoor area and also because there were more patients to treat.

Dr. Dellosa was motivated to set up the LCRC because he was inspired to adopt a new approach in treating patients with substance dependency (such as drug addiction and alcoholism.) This new, more wholistic approach is a mixture of medical proficiency with other factors such as a more personalized perspective in treatment and counseling, moral recovery, and a home environment. Dr. Randy Dellosa is happy to note that patients who graduate from the LCRC program rarely undergo a relapse. But even patients who do relapse are encouraged to learn from the experience (rather than treat the individual’s relapse as the symptom of his addiction.)
